HOW TO PREP FOR YOUR TAN

Week leading up to your appointment:

• Exfoliate thoroughly daily- hand mits/ body brush work best
• Focus on elbows, knees, ankles and hands
• Avoid oil-based scrubs and Dove products
• Complete shaving at least 24 hours before your tan, waxing is 48 hours
• Moisturise daily using an oil-free moisturiser

On the day of your tan:

✔ Shower at least 4 hours prior to your session. Avoid showering immediately before appointment, as it can disrupt your skin's pH balance

✔ Arrive with clean, dry, product-free skin. No perfume, deodorant, lotions, sweat, oils or layered makeup on the body.

✔ Wear loose comfortable clothes like baggy T-shirts and joggers or pyjamas. Avoid leggings, jeans or strappy tops, as tight clothing may cause streaks from body friction or seatbelts during tan processing.

✔ Never tan over peeling sunburn, as this interferes with even absorption and fading. Sun damage even 6 weeks ago will not tan over your skin please cancel your appointment if this is the case and use body makeup instead.

First Rinse After your tan:

✔ Use lukewarm water only no soap.

✔ Remove bronzer gently using your hands or a soft sponge don't just let the water run off your body that can result in streaking

✔ Rinse well until the water runs clear

✔ Pat dry gently, do not rub.

✔ Do not apply soaps, lotions or liquid products to the skin right after your first rinse.

• SPF
• Perfumes
• Existing fake tan residue

WHEN AM I BEST BOOKNG MY FITNESS PHOTOSHOOT TAN?

Its best to schedule your spray tan 1–2 days before your photoshoot to allow the colour to develop fully and settle
